Guess what’s coming up soon… The Superbowl!! It’s like Christmas for football fans and in our house we take it very seriously. Especially when our team is in it. Time for some football wine pairings, or rather, tailgate pairings!
I’m really excited to celebrate Superbowl Sunday with our little guy for the first time. Little does he know how much football brings us together. Tom Brady and his Patriots are back to compete for the Lombardi trophy again this year and I couldn’t be happier!
Typically where there is football there is beer. Don’t get me wrong, this lady loves a good brewski. But this is Wine and Mommy Time, not Beer and Mommy Time.
So what does Superbowl Sunday have to do with our favorite beverage of choice? Okay maybe nothing. Howeverrr, guess who’s here to bring you some pairings! Moi!
Yep, you read that right, wine pairings to go with your tailgate, or couchgate, party!
I’m really excited about these because with how fatty some football foods can be, when you add beer, it becomes even more lethargic. So I feel like wine is a nice change. Especially if you’re not a beer drinker and don’t want to feel totally left out.
Okay okay, so maybe football isn’t exactly something that is every girl’s cup o’ vino, but I mean come on. It’s such a fun atmosphere. Weather it be your living room with friends, or if you’re lucky enough, at the game itself.
If you remember back to our pregnancy announcement, it was football themed. To the point that we had it in the stadium that our local CFL team played. There were no words to explain the feeling of being able to do those photos in that setting.
Anywho, you came here for the booze right? So booze you shall get!
