Since Valentine’s Day is all about love, I thought it’d be fun to reach out to bloggers from my own community. I’ve asked them to send me Valentines crafts for kids to share with you all!
When I think about the blogging community, I don’t know why I hadn’t thought about reaching out to ones around me before. Heck, these are women I could even sit down and have a coffee with! It really just goes to show that there are bloggers everywhere, and just how huge this community is.
I remember when I was little, and going to elementary school, our teacher would make all sorts of fun crafts with us. For every season, holiday, and damn near anything you could think of.
When I was in my teens and would look at all of the haphazardly painted things mom held on to of mine, I didn’t get it. I’d always ask, “why don’t you just throw them out?”. Her response would be what I expect mine will be years from now. “I just can’t.”

Even if my toddler so much as scribbles on a paper, I feel this gut-wrenching guilt if I so much as think of throwing it out.
Aside from being fun little ways to pass the time, these crafts would make great gifts. Maybe to other loved ones, parents, grandparents, teachers, maybe even the pizza guy. There’s something about receiving a gift that is handmade that just gives me warm fuzzies.
Also, giving a gift that I’ve made, makes me two things. Anxious, and excited. Can’t put my finger on why, because they’re both two different extremes, but it’s true.
