Once a year a great non-statutory holiday comes around. You know, the one where we don’t have to send stupid cards with hearts all over them, or eat candy until we puke. I’m talking about St Patty’s day! Not to be confused with the misspelled St Paddy’s. It’s Patty. As in Patrick. Not Paddy. Get it right!
Okay, so now that I’ve gotten that spelling lesson off of my chest, on to what we’re all here for! Cocktails! Or rather, since this is Mocktail March, mocktails! Remember how last week I shared with you that this is Peyton’s birth month? Yep, keeping the theme going do ya’ll! By the way, when did I start saying ya’ll? By say, I mean type, because I don’t say it in real life haha! It just kind of rolls of the finger’s don’t you think?
Anyway, I digress!
There is so much to celebrate this week. I’ll be getting into that more in my newsletter this week, which by the way, if you haven’t already subscribed, click below to do so! One email per week, no spammy spamness, all good!
I guess I should get back to the drinks… Kind of flying all over the place in this aren’t I? So yes, St Patty’s Day is just around the corner. What do I love about this holiday? Let me tell you…
St Patty’s is awesome because…
- It’s a reason to have a theme party
- Fun drink ideas (see below)
- Pretending to be Irish is pretty damn fun
- There’s something just plain fun about green beer
- No need for fancy dinner plans
So maybe those are just some of the reasons, but hey, anything that I can just enjoy and not have to do a ton of work for, is alright in my book!
Like I said before, this is a non-alcoholic round up, so no booze here but you can always add some in I’m sure. Better yet, just throw some damn food coloring in some beer and call it a day.
On to the green bevvies!
